Scrum Master Introduction

Scrum itself is a simple framework for effective team collaboration on complex products.  Scrum co-creators Ken Schwaber and Jeff Sutherland have written The Scrum Guide to explain Scrum clearly and succinctly. This Guide contains the definition of Scrum. This definition consists of Scrum’s roles, events, artifacts and the rules that bind them together.

This one-day training course introduces Agile Scrum fundamentals.

This course is highly interactive to encourage collaboration and reinforcing learning. It covers the following topics:

  • Scrum Principles
  • Scrum Values and ways of working (Agile Manifesto)
  • Scrum Roles
  • Scrum Events
  • Scrum Artefacts

By the end of the training delegates will be able to understand how Agile Scrum development works, who does what, the documentation and events to make progress.

All project professionals and product /solution development roles needing to attain formal recognition of their skills will also benefit from this course along with Product Owners, Sponsors, Directors and stakeholders with an interest in better outcomes and benefits from investments.

There is no pre-requisite required for Agile Scrum introductory level training level.  It is advisable to have some experience or understanding of a project or product development environment.
