Every organisation manages its risk in some way, but not always in a way that is visible, repeatable or consistent to support effective decisions.
M_o_R® considers risk from different perspectives within an organisation: strategic, programme, project and operational.
Our virtual version of the traditional classroom delivery is trainer-led, delivered over 4 days on-line to a small group of delegates.
The M_o_R® Foundation eand Practitioner examinations are taken on-line and invigilated remotely.

M_o_R® has been specifically designed to provide clear guidelines on how to identify, assess and control risks within an organisation.
In order for Risk Management to be effective the risks needs to be :-

- Assessed
- Controlled
The skills gained in this course will enable a framework to be produced which can identify and address any critical problems that may occur within an organisation. This approach and course is not limited to the Project, Programme and Portfolio environment, but considers risk across organisations in any industry or sector.
The Foundation course covers the areas below. The Practitioner course builds on this understanding enabling the delegates to apply this knowledge to manage risk within an organization.

After successful completion of the Foundation course, delegates will gain an understanding (Foundation Level) of the areas below.
The Practitioner course builds on this understanding enabling the delegates to apply this knowledge to a given organisational situation.
- Identifying and assessing risks.
- Decision making with assessment of risks.
- Using the M_o_R® approach and techniques to tackle risks.
- Applying knowledge of M_o_R® to working environments.
- Developing contingency plans.
- Managing risks more effectively.
Any organisation or individual seeing the need for a controlled approach to identify, analyse and manage risk at strategic, programme, project and operational levels. The course is suitable for Project & Programme Managers, Risk Managers, Project Support and Assurance. Managers from other disciplines, particularly those responsible for establishing standards or integration with MSP® and PRINCE2® will also benefit.
The Foundation course lasts three days with a one hour, closed book exam on day three, which requires 50% to pass. The Practitioner course lasts two days with a three hour, open book objective test exam on the last day, which requires 50% to pass.

Substitute delegates will be accepted at any time at no cost.
