Adobe Premiere Pro Video Production - introduction to editing, correcting and outputting video content (am)
This half-day practical course will provide an introduction to editing video with techniques the experts use. We will introduce an approach that breaks down the entire import-to-output process into eight simple steps - a great way to learn Premiere Pro or become more familiar with its editing features.
Please note: a half-day session will be an intense training course covering a lot of technical content in a short period. We highly recommend at least one day training for Adobe Premiere Pro. Content can be covered more easily in a half-day if users have Photoshop and Illustrator experience.
The trainer will introduce participants to the use of workflows showing how to import media, create basic edits and refine composition and cuts with music, sound effects, transitions, visual effects, subtitles, enhancing speech and titles. Key content includes:
- Eight steps to editing in Premier Pro
- Setting up a project and a sequence (understanding terminology)
- Importing and organizing media
- Performing edits to clips on a timeline
- Enhancing audio and stretching or shrinking audio dynamically
- Recording voice-overs
- Applying transitions, effects, and filters
- Changing clip speed - creating timelapse videos
- Creating titles, credit rolls, and lower thirds
- Reframing content for YouTube (16:9 format) and Social Media (9:16 format)
- Exporting your final project
Adobe Premiere Pro Video Production - practical training to get users up and running (pm)
Participants will learn how to bring the Creative Cloud applications together and use Photoshop and Illustrator to compliment your workflow in Premiere Pro (Photoshop and Illustrator skills are not essential).
Using existing keyboard shortcuts and other workflow-enhancing tips, participants will learn how to work efficiently in Premiere Pro.
For those that have used Premiere Pro before we will expand the session into:
- The new Audio Enhancements to correct for pitch, levels and noise cancellation.
- LUTs for colour correction across different input sources
- “Creating B-Roll” footage with new enhanced features directly within Premiere Pro.
- Using built in AI to extend clips. Generative Extend
- AI powered media intelligence and search
- Automatically add and translate captions
- Replace colours in Video

Less than 3 weeks prior to the course start date - 100% of total fees payable or free transfer.
ACCREDITED TRAINING
More than 6 weeks prior to the course start date - No cancellation fee payable.
Less than 6 weeks prior to the course start date - 100% of total fees payable or free transfer.
Substitute delegates will be accepted at any time at no cost.
