This practical course is designed to enable you to create spreadsheets which allow secure data sharing and integration with other applications. You will learn how to implement advanced functions and features such as macros and will be familiar with the basics of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
In business, it is important that the data stored by an organisation is accessed, manipulated and analysed in a secure and robust manner. Integration with other applications and sharing data between users is now commonplace, making security an essential consideration in spreadsheet design.

Advanced data analysis and functions are considered, along with an introduction to macros and VBA. The course is designed as a practical course enabling you to receive hands-on experience of all topics covered. The content will be relevant to Excel 2007, 2010 and 2016.
