You will raise your awareness of the communication dynamic and the influencing styles you already use, exploring practical tools and techniques to support different choices in motivating and persuading others. Key negotiation techniques and processes will also be covered to enable you develop a collaborative ‘Win-Win’ approach to negotiation.
By the end of the training course you will be able to:

Barbara is a leading trainer and facilitator. Having worked for over 22 years in the corporate world of retail, media and hospitality in various senior management, sales and training roles, Barbara shares her wealth of experiences and knowledge to ensure that training is not only practical but also challenging.
Barbara delivers bespoke in-house training and coaching with a focus firmly set on meeting the needs of delegates and the client’s business in mind. Her experience in training includes Organisational Development, Performance Management, Communication and Presentation Skills, Employee Engagement and Emotional Intelligence, Leadership Development and Change Management for many international, national and local brands.
In addition to delivering public and in-house training for AKU Training Ltd, Barbara runs her own consultancy business providing training, coaching and mentoring to public and private sector organisations ranging from SMEs, Agencies and large Corporates.
Clora has worked in Learning & Professional Development for over 20 years. Her focus has always been on getting the best out of people and helping them or their organisation achieve results.
In addition to developing and delivering courses, Clora is an inspirational coach who works with a diverse range of organisations including those within Government, Further and Higher Education, Health & Wellbeing and the Arts & Cultural Heritage sectors. She has provided 1-1 coaching and delivered training on a wide range of subjects with the areas of Graduate Development, Management Development and Personal Development.
Experienced social entrepreneur, motivational speaker and therapeutic coach Shirley started her business in 2005 and later set up her own consultancy. Over the past 5 years most of her time is spent developing and improving culture and communication within organisations, developing and delivering wellbeing services in partnership with the community/voluntary sector as well coaching individuals for personal growth, development and success.
Shirley is Certified to Master Practitioner level in Neuro Linguistic Programming, Time Line Therapy and Hypnotherapy and has an HND in Social Care. She is full of enthusiasm and has a wealth of experience in management within the statutory, private and voluntary sectors. She is passionate about people and creating environments where they are encouraged to thrive. Within the first few years of running her company she won the Customer Service Award and was a finalist in the Best Pace to Work Award in the Ballymena Business Awards.
Shirley believes when individuals are encouraged to learn about themselves and supported as they unlock their potential, they will live fulfilling lives, build strong relationships and networks, be an inspiration to others and an asset to any organisation they choose to work for.

More than 3 weeks prior to the course start date - No cancellation fee payable.
Less than 3 weeks prior to the course start date - 100% of total fees payable or free transfer.
More than 6 weeks prior to the course start date - No cancellation fee payable.
Less than 6 weeks prior to the course start date - 100% of total fees payable or free transfer.
Substitute delegates will be accepted at any time at no cost.
