Richard
Position: Associate Trainer
Richard has 22 years of experience in the education sector, 12 of those as a school Principal in 3 separate schools, including a year as an executive Principal running two schools at the same time. He has worked in a seconded capacity in the primary management team with the education board delivering training to staff at all levels (centre based as well as in schools).
As an Associate with AKU Training Richard delivers many of our leadership development, coaching and resilience and well-being programmes.
Richard has developed a 'coaching style' of leadership over the years and is a member of the Association for Coaching. He delivers 1-1 coaching and hosts his own podcast called 'Head Room' which focuses on developing leadership within education. Richard is passionate about the development of leadership skills in all sectors with a particular focus on coaching.
