Position: Associate Trainer
Tricia is a highly experienced procurement professional with over 30 years’ practitioner experience across the public sector, leading and delivering procurement strategies for a diverse range of supplies, services and major works projects. She has held senior procurement leadership roles, including Head of Procurement at Queen’s University Belfast and Head of Group Procurement for a major public transport organisation, where she was responsible for strategic and operational procurement across large and complex portfolios.
A Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) member since 2000, Tricia specialises in procurement, tender evaluation, specification writing and contract management. She combines extensive practical experience with a strong training background, having designed and delivered procurement programmes for public sector organisations, universities and health bodies. Through AKU Training, she delivers highly rated courses on preparing to go to tender, selection and tender assessment, procurement legislation and contract management, helping delegates apply procurement best practice with confidence in real-world settings.
