Position: Associate Trainer
Andrew has significant experience in the application of data protection legislation and is certified in the UKGDPR (General Data Protection Regulation); he also holds a Diploma in Corporate Governance.
He is a former senior civil servant, holding a variety of key posts throughout his career, including Staff Officer and Head of Corporate Services for a large Scottish public authority, and Programme Executive Officer and Head of Assurance for a National Reform Programme.
Andrew was laterally Chief of Staff and Head of Corporate Governance within the public sector, where he held strategic responsibility for Executive Support, Policy Support and the continuous development of governance, relationships, and liaison with key external partners and stakeholders. The role was extended to include the Corporate Governance function, which included Risk Management, Information Management, Data Protection and Regulatory Compliance, and Business Continuity.
He currently holds a senior post in a high profile public inquiry in Scotland, leading on a number of corporate services and functions.
